I'm back in Xeraco, Valencia. This weather is all round this part of the Med at the mo, so I expect Sqad and one or two others are affected.

Hiya Bensmum. I've been up for hours. Would have gotten up even earlier, but had a power cut in the night, and the alarm clock only read 1:45am when in fact is was about half 5 ! lol

I can see the sunrise Mal, looks lovely. I also watched a magnificent sunset over the downs on my way home from Winchester last night. Lovely part of the world when that happens

The sunrise sounds awesome. The sky here is presently the most incredible shade of cerulean blue.

Grey sky in North Norfolk at present and I await another sunny day. We have had an incredibly dry and sunny summer and all I want is some rain! Gosh, this is my first time on Early Birds!!

The dawn has broken now so the show is over. It was spectacular.
We haven't had any rain for a while in Gloucestershire either.

We have had one day since late June and a few feeble showers about a month ago. My garden is withered and the grass is brown. All the verges are yellow :o(. I know Norfolk is a dry county but apparently we have had half the normal rainfall since April (and that must have happened in April/May. Anglian Water has just woken up to the fact that we have a problem!! The farmers around here are having a real problem. Never mind, probably in a couple of months we will be complaining it is too late.

Off to feed the birds now.

Morning WBM and everybody - dull and damp here and a bit chilly- tried to put heating on - not a beep so boiler has to be serviced. You all certainly get much better weather over there.
