Hi,

Please could anyone tell me what the possible sentence if any would be for dealing in cannabis? This would be for someone who has had a prison sentence before but not sure if it is drugs related.

Thanks in advance

Im not entirely sure to be honest (its a long story) but what could be the best or worst case scenario? best being only a few grams worst say a full bar or pretty much a full bar. sorry I can't be more specific.
I can only speak from personal experience: I got caught with 5 x 20 deals of Skunk approx. 2 years ago... I got arrested, taken down the station, fingerprinted, photographed... and sent home with a verbal warning.

The law has changed since then... I'm not sure what 'class' skunk is classified as nowadays...
^ It was established the amount I caught with was for 'personal use' only, not 'intent to deal'...

If he had a bar then between 6-12months imprisonment, its all down to the judge on the day and their opinion of Cannabis.
well yesterday a man was jailed for 18 months for intent to supply..........but it did have 30,000 street value...
