Does anyone know how I can obtain a CRB check for myself. My Kungfu instructor has requested one as I now help teach in the children's classes. I have been told that I can walk into a police station and request a form, cost is approx 10.

Is this true? Can I download this form from anywhere?

No idea whether you can walk into a police station to do although I seriously doubt it TBH, but you can apply here

Actually, looks as if the instructor needs to get the form for you
Have a read through and you should find all relevant info

cant seem to find where I can get an application form from
you cant personally get one, i am awaiting my one back but had to go through a "registred body" (to the CRB) to get one, idone this through my recruitment agency. it cost me 50. the actual cost of an enhanced CRB check is 36.

They might be able to help
any organisation that requires a CRB check has the forms to issue to its members. They take payment and pass the payment on. If your Kung Fu instructor wants you to have a CRB check then he should have the forms and he submits them with your payment. He receives a copy and so do you.
O'Reilly is correct my organisation gets enhanced CRB checks and both parties get a copy of the CRB records
