CRB checks

Hi, does a CRB check show if you have ever been arrested and not charged or just when you have been charged for something or both?
the CRB check would be needed if i got a job for a local Authority

It usually depends on what level of check they carry out. Usually a basic check will only show current unspent convictions but a full disclosure check will show any warnings, cautions, spent and unspent convictions. Full checks are normally carried out if you are working with children or vulnerable adults also any position of trust.
