jno,

The age of "porn models" or any indecent photo, the model must now be 18 years old (and prostitutes as well). The only exception is if a 16 or 17 year old model is married to the owner of such photos. Even then the husband or wife must not show them around!!!
Judging by the news recently no prison sentence.
is this the guy you reported in July? The police arent very good at all if they are only just looking into it! No-one should get away with such a crime if children are being put at risk, either directly or indirectly!!!
Ethel, I'm not saying all of them are but it's been proven in the past that some have been involved. Obviously they aren't all like that......thank god.
I agree with Ethel - its nonsense to suggest that Judges give lenient sentences in these cases as any one with experience of both sentencing and the SOPO requirements that accompany such cases would know. What his sentence will depend on what he is charged with and that will depend on the nature of the images in his possession. Many so called "child porn" sites only contain images of over 18s. If he is in possession of images of children then consideration will be given to the type of image = what it depicts and the age or approximate age of the children involved.
If he genuinely has images of pre-teen girls even at level 1 on the scale he is likely to get custody. Child pornography images are graded on a scale with none sexual images of naked children at one end and images of sexual penetration between adults and children at the other.
Sentence is largely determined by how many images and of what level of seriousness they are
Jillus' friend is talking through his or her backside
That's your opinion seatrout ! I don't really care what you believe.
Don't forget mitigation... if he's got a well informed barrister/solicitor representing him in court then they will plead for as much leniency as they can in order to get a lighter penalty - and they have no choice but to take it into account due to sentencing laws and guidelines.... so it's as much, if not more, down to how hard the solicitor/barrister pleads the case to keep them out of prison!
i agree with those who say 'no mercy' what puzzles me however is why the authorities don't go after the people who own & run these sites aswell as the sickos who access them
To be honest, from the video 'title' that you mention this probably isn't child porn at all which may be why the police, if you have indeed reported it, aren't doing much?
