Is there anyone out there who can point me in the right direction for getting some sense from the CSA. They seem to be a law unto themselves and just steamroller over people. Would you like to enter into dialogue regarding them sudden increases in payments which are totally senseless? Help needed.

Not sure I can help. In fact I doubt there are many people on here who have had any success with the CSA!

My husband has dealt with them for the last 12 years. For 8 of those he paid spousal maintenance to his ex wife (before she remarried) which the CSA wouldn't include in their assessment as it 'wasn't in their formula'.

He also has around 12,000 arrears which are basically just on paper due to the CSA mucking around and getting assessments wrong.

He has been due a 104 week revue for about 7 years.

He is still on the old system, which means he is paying around 250 per month more than the new system would allow.

He has never spoken to the same person twice, and never had ANY joy with getting his problems sorted out.
the csa are useless, my fiance's x applied to csa in november, she rang them in may asking what was happening and they said they hadnt received any forms from my fiance, so my fiance called them the same day and asked them the same thing and they said they'd received the forms and were dealing with it, my fiance's x got so fed up with waiting they went back to their normal agreement as she realised she werent going to get any more money out of him than she already did anyway
