if my ex partner originally put down 10,000 deposit on our house, will interest be added to this when he buys me out. If so how much and at what rate over 6 years? Also he is claiming that I owe his mother money for helping us do up the house. At the time nothing was said about paying her. I understood it was done out of good will. Can he do this?

I agree go and see a solicitor

when he buys ne out......
the question makes more sense if it reads
when I buy him out

ONE but not the only way is, 10 000 was let us say for a house of forty thous - that is 25%
and now the house is 100 000, so his share is 25 000.
Most people cant argue with that, esp with the rise in prices over the last few years.

as for decoration - common claim, see it it off.
