Can someone help please with this question? My husband is currently receiving Incapacity Benefit, he also gets the Mobility component of the Disbility Allowance for our car. I work part-time (19 hours per week). Husband will be 65 this November, will his State Pension take the place of his Incapacity Benefit? Will he still be entitled to his Mobility? I intend to carry on working till I'm 65 (I'm now 57). Any help with these questions will be much appreciated.

i have a feeling that over 65 it goes to attendance allowance and that dosent have a mobility component, just the care component. ring the dla helpline on 08457123456 to make sure
Disabilty Living Allowance can't be CLAIMED after age 65 but as yir husband is getting it now, he'll continue to get it after age 65 as long as his condition doesn't change.

Yir husband will get a claim form about four months before his 65th Birthday but you can ask for a Pension Forecast here, http://www.thepensionservice.gov.uk/resourcece ntre/br19/home.asp and that'll tell him what State Pension he'll be getting .
