I hope someone can help.
My daughter, who is 9, told her nan that removing shells, pebbles ect. from a beach is stealing.

I thought i had heard something like that ages ago but now i'm not so sure as no-one else seems to think this is true.

Does anyone else know?
Thanks x

People were taking pebbles by the sack load for gardens and ponds,so someparts of the country made it illegal. In someplaces the defence walls were being eroded. I think your alright with the odd pebble and I don`t suppose anyone is too bothered by a few shells either.
