They can do nothing at all. You're expressing an opinion.
.

You can get sued for anything the question is, would they succeed ?

honestly - if you are in the thrall of a loan company, they have to be pretty thick to start anything as you have nothing to pay....

so learn the lesson of not putting anything contentious on the internet
put the kettle on and have a cup of tea.... relax.
How and why did they see it though?
Nothing. You are entitled to make fair comment. If you genuinely think the firm are parasites, you can say or print that opinion. This was always so, but the recent revision of the defamation law has made the position of critics even stronger.

I dont understand postdog my account has always been open perhaps a friend of a friend of a friend knew a provident agent
one of my colleagues called his employer a stupid pri+ck in an email to another and it ended up on his desk
and we never understood how

see above it did make me very careful about what I put on the internet after that

when that happened to me, I said to the fella - did you read the bottom of the email - it says if it isnt addressed to you, you shouldn't read it
so what were you doing reading it under your own rules ?

and he agreed ! I couldnt believe my ears
Can they not take compliments or what ?
If your account has always been open absolutely anybody can read everything you post.
You can't get sued for telling the truth.

Things appear to be improving slowly gordie, at least you're not sitting in the dark anymore, and you're talking to them.

you seem to have it the wrong way round mate, did you borrow some money? have you paid?
No in short - s1 of the new Defamation Act 2013 excludes it on two counts

the libel has to be serious and in the case of a trading body they have to show serious financial loss

sorry only just read the act and thought of you
You're running the risk on here too gordie, naming the company in your response..... FB is an open book, one of the people I worked with got a disciplinary for saying stupid things about her employer on FB.
bt - yeah I agree employers have funny rules
and MY employer got upset about comments in the public domain
( and started recording and listening to our telephone calls)

and Gordie Scott specifically asked could be get sued
and it is clear that he owes the Loan company and is not employed by them

and as the Archbishop said, they are reprobates and usurers...
you're certainly not doing yourself any favours with them, gordie, not only do you say you can't pay them, you're sla gging them off as well. How can you say they are parasites, when you borrowed money from them, presumably of your own free will, now can't pay them back?
