To be fair Clarion Street, FGT has posted a light hearted thread about a star wars anniversary party she is holding.

If you wanted to start a thread remembering those 10 sailors, I am sure it would have received the appropriate respect - rather than hijacking this one. Now I am imagine people are reluctant to post frippary when it has been pointed out that this is also a very sad anniversary.
