Just been to see the Imax version of Les Miserables and i'm glad I took a handkerchief. Excellent film. Have you seen it yet?

Yep, last week and I stayed awake this time i didn't for the stage show.

Yes, saw it on Tuesday. Was spellbound the whole time and really glad it hadn't been overhyped and therefore wasnt a disappointment in the way some films are.
As for Hugh jackman, well, what a lovely man :)

I'd be interested to see what people think of Russell Crowe as I was not a fan before and he has his critics - but I think he grows on you in the role of Javert

I thought Russell was well cast for the part, I'm not generally a fan either. His voice isn't good at all but that didn't detract from his role. I actually forgot about the singing in the whole film, it just became like ordinary dialogue as none of the actors were wonderful singers.
