I got a job with a probation period of 3 mouths when I had worked 9 weeks I became ill and was rushed into hospital.I was put on sick for 3 weeks with doctor and waiting for an oparation on the 3rd week off sick I received a email telling me that I was not ging a permanent job with the employer I have not received any sick pay upto now are they able to do this while you are on the sick with the doctor.

Yes, they can dismiss (with notice) for almost any reason in the first 12 months. An exception might be if your absence was pregnancy related.
have you put in your sick certificates?
Do you earn at least £102 per week?

If yes, then you are entitled to SSP at the very least

I should have made it clear I was only answering the part of the question that referred to being told the job would not be made permanent
