I've tried asking them for ID before but that confuses them too much! When they ask to the house owner I get my Dane who barks on command and put her on :0)

no but i have toshiba, they are really good, well worth the money, though mines on the blink a little bit right now....the sound keeps going but that could be my freeview box when i think about it.... can you remember the sony adverts with the skeleton ? they were well funny...oh hang on was it sony or memorex? i remember memorex made really good tapes but they were loads more expensive... hello hello, are you still there....

My mother gets the calls from a so called windows chap all the time, she normally tells them that she doesn't need double glazing.
When I answered to him once I called him a con artist and told him to ****off he replied "OK sir, thank you"
I don't actually think he understood a word I'd said to him.

I had just finished reading through divegirl's link when the 'phone rang....

It was "Ricky" asking me which make of TV I own....needless to say his ear-drum is probably still ringing as I type........:o)

Had three calls in the last week from people trying to sell warranties for Sky equipment. When I say I am covered they always ask "by which company?". My reply is always "not yours obviously" and then I hang up.
