In relation to the Police, what is a Source Input Document, when, and for what reason is it used?

Your original question is difficult to answer unless you are willing to disclose full details including what information / evidence would have proven you were wrongly tried etc.

There are laws regarding disclosure of prosecution evidence whether it is used or not in trial as New Judge has mentioned. (CPIA).
In fact, why don't you direct your question in writing to the relevant police force Legal Department.

I have never had any contact with the police before this and i find them very intimidating and unhelpful. From what i can work out from replies, there appears to be nothing i can do anyway. I was hoping i could make the police hand me this audit trail via the courts because they will not provide it to me by SAR even though the audit trail is personal to me.
