Building work in Voluntary Aided Catholic Schools is paid for jointly by the Government and the parents of pupils at school (news to me!) 10% of the full cost must be funded via parents or fundraising. The estimated cost is 700k and must find 70k to meet our contribution. Please help by giving an amount monthly, quarterly or annually over a three year plan....
Tight arrse ;-)
Actually, I agree completely. Surely thats what tax pays for.
I also got a letter from my daughters school yesterday, concerning my eldest.
She has been recognised in the top 5% of pupils within the school for academics. As a result she has been given Gifted and Talented status, and will recieve all the little perks that go with it (extra school trips, more interesting homework etc)
* Phase 2 of boys and girls changing room refurbishment
* Replacement windows for areas apart from the new buildings
* Minor works on existing classrooms to make better use of space within the school building
