A friend in N.Ireland was recently issued a Prohibited-Steps Order by her ex-husband to stop her taking the kids to England. That's fair enough, but will it appear on any CRB checks that are requested for future jobs?

It's not a criminal record is it? So, no I'd say it wouldn't
A standard CRB check only lists details of convictions, cautions and warnings. So the answer is definitely 'No' as far as that level of check goes.

An enhanced CRB check can show any additional information which is deemed relevant by a senior police officer (or other relevant agency). For example, a teacher has posted here after finding that an allegation of 'grooming' a minor for sex had been made against him, despite the fact that he'd never been questioned about the allegation or even made aware of it. Similarly a teacher I know found that criminal offences committed by her husband appeared on her enhanced CRB check.

So there can never be any 100% guarantee that any particular piece of information won't appear on an enhanced CRB check. However I can't think of any reason why anyone would deem a prohibited steps order to be in any way relevant to an enhanced CRB check.

Thanks for the help, we both thought this but there's still the fact that nothing can be guaranteed when it comes to a bloody CRB. Cheers.
