Ii found 20 in a shopping square. I handed it in to the shop nearest. If it is not claimed by the loser within the next week does it become mine?

wasn't found on the premises, was found in a shopping quare and taken to the nearets shop
And I am not sure that just because it was found in a shop it belongs to the shop. You can then say if it is found in on the bus its the busdrivers, so on etc etc

so now u know for sure it does? What piece of info made you change from think to know? I'd like to read it
I still say it is not likely. Why would it? How can the store prove it does?

Just to confirm it was found on the square outside the shops
Poodi's right. Police station would've been best. Doubt you'll ever see that 20 again. Honest of you though!
Hi, I found a mini Hi-Fi on a train once, left it into nearest Police Station, was told to call in in 3 months in case it wasn`t claimed, called back and was ofered a very old, tiny radio, which I declined, obviously a police officer took the one I had found. Is no one honest anymore.
