I am so confused with what i want to do with my life.

I have done 2 years at college and got a diploma and have just completed my first year at uni.

But i dont like the course im doing, was going to continue with it but ive just moved and none of the uni's near me do the course i was doing so thinking maybe i should go back to college and get some a levels as this will give me more options of courses at uni.

Im just not sure what to take and what id wanna do my degree in.

Anyone got any advice on how to decided what job best suits you??

Thanks x

What do you actually want to do? Have you always had a dream about what would make you happy?

Unless you are clear what career path you want to follow you may find yourself just flitting between subjects and careers and never feeling really fulfilled. Have you had any work experience in the subject you have completed your Diploma, its one things studying a subject that interests you and another practicing or working in that field.

Im 36 now, and right from a youngster I wanted to be an Opera singer, I ended up working for the Inland Revenue which was major dull - now run my own company with Mr BN and also do Opera...

So my advice - follow you first dream
Think about what you enjoy doing and the relevance.

I did my degree in Business Administration as you cover a bit of everything, marketing, finance, economics, strategy etc which you can transfer to a number of jobs, so I would avoid doing a degree in anything too specialised.

Thanks for your advice.

I havnt got a dream job thats why im trying to figure out what i can imagine doing and enjoing for the rest of my life.

I have done worked using my diploma and thats what i was continuing to study at uni but i just didnt enjoy it and couldnt imaging getting a full time job doing that.

I spent a long time last night looking at differnt courses and i think ive found one i might like, i did the subject while i was at school and really enjoyed it but never thought about using it.

Im gonna apply for it and if that fails my mum suggested doing an access course which counts as a levels and when i do think of something i want to do it should help me get into any subject.

Thanks again.
The best way to find out what you like is to get into work and not course as in theory you may like it but when you get into it you don't and you have wasted all your time, why not try out a few jobs that take your fancy something with a skill they like people to come in and train with them from scratch and they can train you how they think is best. And if after a year or so you don't think its for you then go back to training at college or uni.
