I Have been temping with one agency since Feb and so far I am on my second assignment at a company. I have been told that my contract ends on may by the company, but may still consider to keep longer. I have been very good towards my agency but do any of you think I should join another one just to be on safe side? But if i do, wouldn't my new agency find me a an assignment before my present one? I owuld like to stik to my present one as much as i can as its a good company. Any ideas ?

Hi ! Well, it depends what your position is, really. If you are doing admin work, for example, you probably have earned a reputation for sticking it out with your assignments, so even if this job ends in May, they will find you another one, as there are plenty of those to go round ( well, there is in my area anyway ! ). If your job is more "specialised", then maybe there aren't that many positions available and you should register with other agencies just in case ! They will not think you are "cheating" on them, it's the normal way to do it ! In any case, I wish you good luck !

Yes i am in admin and always have been through my one and only agency

Hi

I've worked in, and managed agencies for ten years, and between you and me I would register with a few. None can really be trusted to help you, it really boils down to how good their sales people are, and even a good agency can through bad patches, so for your own safety dont worry about loyalty. trust me they dont worry about you!!
