My brother is filling in a job application and cannot remember his exam result. He can't even remember if they are CSE & O Levels or GCSE. Is there an organisation or whatever that would be able to help him find out?

Why not try phoning the office staff at the school he attended giving them his details? It won't hurt to ask.

He may have to visit the school for them to check his identity before disclosing the details due to data protection laws - he might even have to apply in writing.

There isn't a common organisation which holds results details. If he knew the exam boards concerned it may be a start as he could contact them. The trouble is that if he can't remember the results, he's not likely to remember the exam boards concerned.

Let's hope he's not in a rush.

If all else fails, visit the above site. I had to produce my certificates from 1973, for God's sake. I had to pay a fee, but they tracked them down for me.

At last, maybe someone can help. I left school in 1973-1974 (memory not as good as it was). I cannot remember what exams I took or what grades I got. Would I have taken CSE's and GCE's? Did you take them both in the same year or stay on to take a second one? My old school is no longer. Help please.

Nuass, CSE's & GCE O level would have been taken in the last year at school, you could have stayed on for either of these or GCE A level. Hope this helps.
