I am applying for a job after being out of the working world for a while. I am trying to complete some appliaction forms for shop assistant jobs and they can be quite complicated. Does anyone know of a good website or two where i can get examples of what is best to write for some of the questions.

I will be forever thankful if someone could help.

Many Thanks in advance

I don't know of any websites with sample questions. Try posting some of the questions on here and I'm sure the lovely AnswerBankers will assist!
You could always pop into your local job centre or learn direct. they also help with this sort of thing - or google for their website :)

Be very wary of copying down examples you see on a website or in a book. An experienced interviewer will see right through them even if you try and write your own thing. We have been going through hundreds of applications forms at work at the moment. We've just been reading through them and going, "copied out a book" or "his mum wrote it for him"! The change in style is too obvious. Interviewers are also very wary of people just writing what they think the interviewer wants to hear rather than what they feel.

If you are having trouble working out what the questions are asking for than maybe you can ask a friend to explain what they think they mean. They could also check your answers to see if it makes sense.
