Yes.

Yes.  Don't tell the creepy man about your plans about anything.  Stop communicating with him

I didn't he messaged first

The answer's still the same - ignore the slimy snake.

Don't tell him that you are going.  Don't accept a lift from him.  If you feel uncomfortable at all with him don't go out with him or text/phone him.  Be polite and he may just go away.

You don't need a man in your life to be happy, stop going out of your way to find one.  Concentrate on getting a job that you can do well.  You might meet Mr Right and you might not.  Just be young and enjoy your life.

Oh no not him old enough to be my dad

sorry - I have a real issue with this bloke being labeled creepy, stalker and few of the other names that have been mentioned.

Abbey - you cannot have it all ways - you have used this man for your own ends - so stop it!

don't respond, don't acknowledge and just stop slagging him off

Do you think he will be looking for you on the road and will try and give you a lift?  (even if you don't tell him) ?  Will you get a bus ?

Question Author

It's awkward if I don't respond as he will know so just say I got plans

Question Author

Floko he not going to know if I don't tell him

As your Mum now knows about him, I think it is time to tell her he is still messaging you. She is really the best one to advise you on what to do.

Don't answer him, or tell him anything. You asked and nearly everyone has given you the same answer.

Remember my advice - confide in somebody at the home, so that you have somebody who knows whats going on and that you can go to and know that they will back up whatever you say.

I agree with Redhelen.

This is what you said back in August, with the title "Is this guy harassing me?"

//I appreciate he being kind giving me lifts and going for lunch but he does my head in grabbing me to do it all the time as I'm leaving where I know him from I got things I need to do myself feel like he obsessed with me//

but you've since accepted a watch, lifts and an invitation to dinner from him, as well as asking us if you should go to a concert/zoo/out with him and a friend/two friends/6 friends...

Like I said it since my mum said be careful and this was only other day.

Wonder if he does appear at dogs home tomorrow

Are there other female volunteers at the kennels?  How many volunteers are there at any one time?

Question Author

Yes there are. It all depends

Thanks Abbey - just wondered if you were only female.

I very much agree with Helen. None of us know him or know the real situation.  You’ve treated him very badly by not being honest I  and  not telling him you are not interested.  He's probably  just a lonely person who wants your friendship and your taking advantage of the situation.  How can people who know nothing about him call him creepy, slimy, etc.  It's horrible!

I wonder about a 60-something man who thinks he doesn't have to comply and wear a hi-viz jacket as required by the dogs home. A charity, I assume...and their insurance may require it. Or...maybe it's just advertising  🤔

He may not be a creep, but he may see himself as above in some way. I'd certainly err on the side of caution.
