We are under the flight path from Heathrow .. numerous flights leaving, where are they all going at this worrying time? And why are people still being allowed into the country from places such as Italy? And why are people on the news working so close together, even outside hospitals, and no body is wearing a mask ... politicians have a lot to answer for. Time to get tough before it is too late.

the flights could be emergency medical supplies
maybe they're bringing Brits home from wherever they've been trapped?
The main London - Worcester line passes not far from me and it was running today. Who was on it? Where were they going, and why?
There’s a lot going to get Brits home from various places
Start here
https://www.heathrow.com/departures
and click 'Show earlier flights' a few times to see where the aircraft have been flying to this evening.
Here's a list of whats flying just now .......

And if you want arrivals , type in LHR arrivals. Mind-boggling isn't it, all this air traffic?
Don't worry it's all blown out of proportion .
sanmac, bear in mind that if six flights all leave for the same place at the same time, they're just one plane code-sharing for several different airlines.

Because they DON'T make matters better and might even make them WORSE!!!

Nobody else needs to wear a mask, and there are several reasons for that.

One is that a mask is not seen as reliable protection, given that current research shows the virus is spread by droplets and contact with contaminated surfaces. So it could protect you, but only in certain situations such as when you're in close quarters with others where someone infected might sneeze or cough near your face. This is why experts say frequent hand washing with soap and water is far more effective.

Removing a mask requires special attention to avoid hand contamination, and it could also breed a false sense of security."

one plane is offski to Singapore.

There's quite a few helicopters on the screen than has been on previous fridays.
Buenchico, the useful thing about wearing a mask is that it's a reminder every time you're about to touch your face.
But a drawback is that people who are not accustomed to wearing a mask often touch their face anyway, as they often fiddle with/adjust the mask.
I have a friend who lives on the north coast of Northern Ireland and
has for years tracked the aircraft overhead, which is on the flight path of aircraft going to and coming from America. He's saying that the majority of aircraft on this route at the moment are freight carriers.
that makes sense, freight is still flying.
Freight is flying in the holds of passenger aircraft as well. Most flights are people who are trying to get back to their own countries
237, between America and the USA?
Sorry, not the USA, I meant the UK.
Yes, there's always cargo in the cargo holds. Cargo is very lucrative (DHL has just taken off over here).
