It's unrealistic for everyone we work for... they need outside people in, or they literally can't get out of bed, let alone feeding, drinking, washing. I'm not sure how they are going to prevent under 70s visiting them, unless they are all going to do each other's shopping and care, etc.
You order supplies over the Net, pay all bills in a similar manner. Get your neighbours teenage kids to sort your PC/Internet up for you beforehand. Should be doable.

You can't get all your supplies over the net. You cannot get newspapers; you cannot get prescription drugs (not all GPs subscribe to the prescription delivery scheme). The cost of grocery deliveries (if you want to order small amounts) is prohibitive for those on a limited income.
Also consider those who live with a partner. They are advised to sleep in separate rooms (many haven't got a separate room to sleep in). They are advised to keep 2m apart for four months - in a one bedroom flat? It's not remotely doable for many over 70s and is a typical plan devised by people who haven't the slightest idea how many people live.
Its unrealistic and unhealthy to stay home for months, byt do your best and stay away from crowds. Shop locally or accespt help where offered. Already I have seen local people offering to help isolated people with shopping and errand running, especially those who work for companies who have halted activities, like sports people and travel workers.
