Its been a while since I left school (25 years - gulp!) and I honestly can't remember what grades I got in my exams.  Is there a way I can easily find out?

You could try emailing or phoning whichever board you did the exams through
I tried to do this recently and the scottish examination board tried to charge me 26. try phoning your local college. they should know where to ask.
the results will have been published in your local paper at the time, it might not give the grades though,  it might just show the subjects and which exam it was, GCE GCSE A level etc.

I researched this not long ago, cos I'd lost my certificates (i left school in 1985).

You do have to pay to have your results sent through again and even more if you require a certificate.

Have a look on this website, it may help.

I wouldn't worry too much.  I have found it sufficient  at my advanced years to simply list the subjects = 'O' Level passes in......

Alternatively, make the grades up!

Good Luck

Yes I wouldn't expect a potential employer to scrutinbise 25 year old exam results.  I did mine 17 years ago and I only state that I earned x GCSEs grade A-C in ..subjects....

I would just say that you did the exams in (the year dot!!) and that you gained passes including Maths and English.
