A friend has been trying to become a fireman for some time.  He gets so far and has had 3 attempts over the last 3 years.  Each time he has been told that he is unsuccessful. This is after the written test. He would like to know where his weaknessess are, but apparently is unable to discover what areas he needs to improve on.  Any advise please.

Make friends with a young fireman who knows the ropes and ask him for his advice and honest opinion.

Ask the Fire Brigade Union for advice. They must do more than plan their next strike! (joke, not serious)
