Am i right in thinking that relatives of elderly residents in residential homes should not supply food to all residents, surely, if it were permitted wouldn't it make the whole inspection criteria a farce ie Training, temperature control of fridges and food, recording of menu variation, saving small portions of each meal for examination if outbreak of food poison etc etc. If anyone has any relevant information on the above i would be grateful to hear from you.
