I can't help but a couple of suggestions - where does he live, and what sort of transport, if any, has he got? Without that ABers won't know whether they can help or not.

any jobs in this area wold be good but he would traval he starts awood work course in september at cravan collage any work would be good thank you all
if he's a school leaver i think he can only start work after the school year official leavers date which used to be june 30th .
That would depend how many hours he worked, Dot.
Kids younger than 16 have paper rounds ext.
Can`t help but my son owns a flooring company. If a young lad comes along for some temporary work he is happy to help even though it will be just fetching, carrying and sweeping up. Some small firms are glad to help a youngster with a but of gumption. Good luck.

Would he consider dishwasher/kitchen-hand in cafes/restaurants/hotels?
Does he have an interest u can invest in, ie carpentry - make rabbit hutches for sale

Asda, the supermarket, are always advertising for workers. Perhaps other supermarkets also require staff.
Has your son tried advertising in the local newspaper?
I once found a job when I was a student by going into shops and asking if they needed help.
Farmers may need help with fruit picking at this time of year.
Some people will gladly pay for gardening help and dog walkers.
