I planned on doing the cleaning but didn't get round to it - still time i guess. I'm sitting in the shade watching MrM mow the lawn and enjoying the smell of freshly mown grass.

Did some laundry, some gardening, some emailing and a little more sitting!

Lovely weather .. did the lawn ... read a cookery book .. & just watched a brilliant film on Sky Indie called 'Youth In Revolt'
Not much, quiet day really. Met some friends for outdoor coffee in town and did my best to keep out of the sun, too hot and sticky for me today. Just getting washing and such sorted now. Was hoping to get out and do some weeding but no way in this weather, I'd fry/melt.
Back from a week in Praa Sands in Cornwall.
So back to work Monday :-(

Its cooling down now, so I'm going to have a look at Countryfile, have a salad and see if I can't talk MrM into a drive to the seaside for an evening stroll.

Sat on computer trying to get through for Edin. Book Festival tkts. Eventually got them after 7 hrs. Friend came for a coffee and a blether. Was going to cut grass but rain never stopped. Hey ho, there's always tomorrow.
I had a friend to stay and we spent this morning recovering from last night. Cooked a huge roast and now going for a walk around the lake in Bushy Park.
Turned out my wardrobe, got a pile of stuff for the charity shop and nothing to wear. Its all piled up on my bed so i've got to finish it or I cant go to bed. Wish I'd never started.
