Which do you think are the most delicious chocolates to buy online. I want to send some to my sister and fiance who are getting married later this month. I know the Thorntons truffles are delicious, and you can have hand iced messages on them, but thought maybe you clever people would have a better idea! Thank you.

Leonidas are gorgeous. I`m not sure if you can buy them online though.

Fortnum&Mason do a truffle dusted with real cocoa and to die for but I dont know about posting them, I just buy 4 because they are very rich and I have always finished them on the bus before I get home and usually feel sick because they are so rich, but I just cant help myselfand its only a once in a while treat I dont go to town much these days.
Selfridges do some gorgeous chocolates, as do most of the Department stores.
you could try hotel chocolat, but you don't get much chocolate for your lolly.

hotel chocolat are expensive but delicious
I love Thorntons soft centres.
Unfortunately the best chocolates are to be found in Puccini shops in Amsterdam, but the are not available elsewhere. After that there are lots of second bests and among them the bars sold by Aldi as Choceur are really very good - bars of Classic Dark, Milk and white. they do other ones with higher cocoa content too (different name). As for boxes of individual chocolates, I know of none that are worth the price charged.
These are really good too..

Harrods do a range of hand made chocs. Bit expensive, but worth it, and can be bought online.
If you like truffles, try Amazon.co.uk and look for 'Gudrun' Belgian truffles, they are absolutely delicious, not sickly in any way and are light and just gorgeous, never in my life have i tasted any chocolates so sumptuous....
Having just spent a weekend surrounded by chocolate I would recommend the following, admittedly I don't know about the online sales aspect....

www.williamcurley.com
www.damianallsop.com
www.paulwaynegregory.com
www.sirhanssloane.com

These chocolates are the real deal made by Master Chocolatiers!
Try Godiva chocs. gorgeous. I think you can get them in John Lewis
red helen - there sure used to be a queue down the street outside the Leonidas shop in the Grande Place in Brussels. The locals used to stock up in their lunch hour
Montezumas chocolates are very good as well.

I'm not a fan of chocolate but IMHO Leonidas and Godiva are mass produced crap! Thornton's don't even enter the ratings.....
