Attributes

Application form i have mentions about skills and attributes i have but arent they the same thing or are skills more what you can do and attributes more about you as a character

Reason im asking is i dont recall being asked it on application forms,

Well I'm only guessing but attributes are thing like being able to see the big picture, or self starting, or conscientiously spotting the detail, or always being punctual. Skills are things like brick laying or able to use spreadsheets, or coding in HTML or being a certified plumber.

I agree, attributes are things you have naturally as part of you character (or body) and skills are things you have gained through training or experience.
