I have got a leak on my water pipe which leads into the stench pipe behind my kitchen cupboards. To access this pipe to repair it they will have to remove my kitchen cupboards, which of course will damage them, will I be covered on my insurance policy for damage to my cupboards caused by removing them. Very worried! Please help before I contact my insurance company.

no,im afraid you are not covered for maintenance to repair a leak,if the leak has caused any damage to anything, that is covered but not the cupboards removal, why will removing the cupboards damage them, they are simply screwed to the wall, there should be minimal damage if they are taken out properly.
It will depend on your insurer. The company I work for now covers people for the damage caused by locating a leak, etc.
