The Co op have just sent me this recipe
Fry a small onion till soft, add a little balsamic vinegar and brown sugar. Grate some cheese. Spread butter on the outside of a hot cross bun then put the onion mix and grated cheese inside. Fry lightly for 1 to 2 minutes, pressing it down the pan till the cheese melts a bit.
Something you’d make? I would, sounds very tasty.

Sounds unlikely; but I'd try it.
Sounds yummy.
My favourite is a "chocolate orange" hot cross bun. Split, toast, plain Belgian choc spread on one half and orange curd on the other. Sandwich together. Lovely.
sounds lovely ,what time are you doing it and i'll wait at your gate xx

That sounds nice ginge, if a tad sweet for my taste.
I remember last year there were suggestions for making a bacon buttie with a hot cross bun. I never did get round to making one but it did appeal.
Unfortunately, got the spreads but no buns! Going to Waitrose after lunch...fingers crossed!
