You need to look for any paperwork or remember how you paid and then look at the bank/credit card statement.
There is a site to check you're insured but I don't think it tells you the insurer

Clark you are saying who was your car insured with and not who is your car insured with. If it is your current car I would have thought you have kept the insurance certificate somewhere. The search is up to you and as already said beyond our powers to advise you. Usually when it is close to expiry existing company contact you in hope of keeping your business for another year.
