Good morning early birds. Just back from another short run. Lovely and cool this morning. No one about. I thought the clock said 7am when it actually said 5am. I think my clock is a bit dyslexic! It's not the first time that has happened! Have a good day all.

Morning each and everyone of you. Looks like we've bought a job lot of alarm clocks - mine is the same as yours sweetpea. Even the clock on the video (yes I still have one!!) is ganging up on me. It was showing 0600 when my alarm went off at 3 (should have been 4), so as this is the first clock I see in the morning, I shot out of bed, stubbed my toe on my bedside chair then tripped over my shoes. Went to the loo and thought it was dark for 6 so I checked - eldest had been watching a video and had stopped the film at exactly 0600 on the bloody counter. I'll swing for him when I see him next!!!

Stubbing toe is not good at any time but first thing in the morning ought to be illegal. I smacked my ankle on the bedpost a few days ago and was glad it wasn't my toe :-)

morning alba, welshy, looks like you are in the wars so to speak, i never leap out of bed these days, those days are over.. no alarm clock and if ever i need one, to make sure i get up for an early doctors appointment, then it's hard wired into my brain. An alarm clock would end up being lobbed out the window

Morning em, jd. Normally I have no need to scramble out of bed in the morning but it had to be today - heavy day at work with the long weekend looming - P11ds to copy and send out to employees today, 690 page mobile phone bill for nearly 200 phones to analyse (oh deep flaming joy!). No doubt some joker wikll come in about lunch time and say 'I need this doing today...' followed by a 2 word answer the second one being off!!
