If you do the normal diet thing and are still just that bit too large you could always go for that - you won't lose weight from it but it'll last long enough for the big day

happened to me...weddings in 3 weeks...i had to get dress let out!! eek!! but i honestly hit the gym, body balance one a week isnt strenuous its just stretches and tones....gym when i could...cardio workouts...and i am a BIG snacker so i changed to snack a jacks, brown bread and snacked on lower cal things like kitkats and wee pink panther wafers...instead of calling a chinese i made a quick toastie at night and i swictched to lower cal crisps such as squares and drink water and even the one milk has one cal..... it just isnt realisic for me to not eat rubbish. i also grill things..george foreman grill!! best of luck i really really feel your pain!!! i was mortified when dress didnt fit....and even for hen night i wanted to look good as i felt as chief people would be looking at me hahah!!! wedding soon ill need to stick hard to gym!!!! xx
Wednesday, I was speaking to my neighbour 3 weeks ago and I seen her yesterday and I got a shock at how much weight she has lost. I asked her what she was doing cause she looked great, she said she stopped eating white bread, biscuits etc and ate much more fruit and veg and done more exercise. She looked brilliant.
Use the lack of foresight as a lesson to be learnt.
Do what you can in the gym or elsewhere to increase output. Do cut out snacks but continue to eat sensibly to minimise input. And yes those clingfilm type wraps do work, temporarily. Probably just water, but if it gets you the extra half inch for the day, probably worth it.
Or you could let the dress out.

Watercress soup is good and quite tasty too, should not be done for more than a few days though! Swimming is good for toning.
Cut down carbs big time, move more, walk as much as possible in your daily routine, take the stairs, not the lift etc... and do some decent cardio exercise to get your heartrate up for long enough to burn off the calories and susequently fat.

The egg diet does work evedawn. You are only advised to do it for 2 weeks at a time though as it is so strict. You are not allowed any dairy products mixed with the egg... so scrambled eggs without milk or butter, you can have them cooked any way you like though.
You can eat other stuff as well but it has to be carbohydrate free.
