Y r men considered commitment phobes when women r just as bad? my own experience is that i have known a girl for a number of years and over the past few months we have been intimate on several occasions but when i ask her if she wants to go with me she says she is not ready for anything. I know the situation is one of those a lot of guys would love but i am getting bored of the constant feeling of being ON CALL to go running when she wants me to!(not that it doesnt have its benefits!) does anyone else think i should cut my loses and move on as i have had other offers i have turned away in the hope of something with this girl. Should I move on? is this destined to always be a casual relationship!

You won't know unless you ask her. Tell her how you feel and that you would like to have a serious relationship, see what she says. She can either agree with you or say she is not ready to settle down. Then you will have your answer.

she already knows ive have told her.
she might be playing the "treat them mean keep them keen" game. dont keep running after to her beck and call and see what happens then, have you told her that youve had other offers from girls?
Question Author
nope i have not told her. should i get together with someone else and c what happens then?
You've said you've told her, but what was her answer?!! That's the only way of knowing for sure if this relationship is just casual or not. Is she seeing other fellas, if so then why shouldn't you see other girls??!!
yes, move on. she is not ready for YOU. as a woman i have done the same thing. when she does not have you at her beck and call, she'll find out what she is missing, if she is. maybe you're not the one, sorry to bust your bubble.
So after you told her, what did she say?
Question Author
she just said she was frightened of a relationship as she had a bad experience about 2 yrs ago
Stop answering her calls/texts for a couple of weeks and see if it prompts her. Give her a chance to miss you. If she doesn't miss you then knock it on the head.
big lad u need to catch a grip!! move on and find ur balls! If u got it together with this girl u would not have any control she'd be wearing the trousers! have a bit of self respect and find ur dignity!
