just bought this pc and when you boot up get a diskette drive 0 seek failure message come up press f1 to continue and evrythings ok any ideas why this does it

Does it have a floppy disk drive?

If so sounds like the cable to it may have come loose.

If it hasn't got a floppy disk drive then maybe it has an incorrect setting in the BIOS telling it to look for a floppy when there isn't one present.
