It's like any other sport really, to make a living out of it you have to be EXTREMELY good. If he is in a club, then he'll have to keep competing to get a decent ranking until he's reached the "top".

A lot of social clubs have a junior
snooker section ..try that or a snooker
school ...

stephen hendry used to playat a local halll near where i lived .at 14 he was in the local paper after scoring a 147 break at the club.
A local guy took a bet with the boookies that hed be world champion before the year 2000.

he won easily.

yes he is really good, men that dont know him we have to warn them not to let him win. We take him to our club, they cant wait till he is 16 so he can join there team
