I don't. But if you're asking what you should answer in the event that you are asked this question at interview, then you'll need to tell us what sort of job you're going for.
I've always had a deep fascination with the retail industry, especailly food retail. I enjoy working with a team of people and am always keen to meet and help members of the public. I have always felt the somefield offer something which the other food reatilers don't and therefore am keen to help promote somerfield from within.
Or maybe I'd answer like this. Mr/Mrs Personnel manager, this is buisness you obviously have a need for staff and I have a need for a job. If you can honestly say you have hundreds of people willing to take this job on the fact its Somerfield and not because they can't get a job elsewhere I'll go to the back of the list. Lets not pretend that you actually believe my or any bodys application is any sort of interest in this place, and I'll not pretend to beleive this job is anything other than the last option before taking a cleaning job. If my CV or interview are not sufficient to give you an indication of my suitablilty for this job then I'll decline to answer and go for a job at Tesco's.
To be serious, I'd just say stuff such as "I like the idea of working in a busy environment", "I like working with other people" etc etc. Its the worst question an interviewer can ask not because its difficult but because it shows a lack of imagination on their part.

Recent I meant!
I used to work in Somerfield!! Wow......those were the days...(ahem). I hope you get the job and get to see the Philip Schofield health and safety video. The uniform is better now that it was when i worked there, and they seemed pretty normal to work for. BEWARE: as with many retail companies 'accidents' can happen with your payslip, so make sure they're not doing you out of money. As for why you want to work there, the 'I thrive in a busy environment and am confident working with the general public' is ussually a good one.
