Repeat the scan. Make sure your aerial is properly connected.

Thanks xol but i tried that, instead of going back to a channel the screen goes blank, I tried switching the TV and box off for a while then on again. Also checked the leads/aerial. Any other ideas?
Do you get any messages at all on the blank screen such as, "No signal", "service unavailable" etc?

If not, is your aerial ok? Are the connections damaged?

Do you hear anything?

Check all of tose things and report back.

Hi Wix, no message on screen, when I press status it says 100% on each channel. It was working ok last night, just thought I would sacn for any new channels, now have none! No noise, all connections ok aarrrggghhhh
You didn't press anything that would have changed your set to analog from digital?
Hmm, try setting your box back to the factory settings. Also try altering things like volume and contrast, to see if that makes any difference. Failing that it could be a fault inside your box itself and not in the software.
Post back if you have any more problems.
Some freeview boxes also have a software update option. (in configuration).
try updating the software and re-scanning for channels. This time when you scan make sure you select first time installation and not add new channels.
We're having similar problems. We can change channels but not see the menu. We keep getting the messages that the thing is updating, but we have to keep hitting the 'quit' button to stop it going off.

This is the third update in as many weeks, so I reckon the good folks at freeview have a few problems at the moment.

Hi all, thanx for all the suggestions. In the end I unplugged the box from the wall for about 5 minutes and hey presto all channels have now returned. :-)
