I would like to know I connect the above with the option of recording a certain programme on freesat and watching another programme on same. do I need more than just Scart Leads??????Help

Unless you have two digital tuners it can't be done.

I know nothing of free sat, but if it uses satellite, and you still have an aerial, you could buy a cheap freeview box.

Then you could watch freeview and record satellite, or vice versa.
