I discovered this website about 4 days ago and have answered a few questions since then. But none of my answers has yet appeared on the board. Is there a delay before answers appear? If so, how long?

Sorry about this. Answers should appear more or less straightaway (there is no pre-moderation on the site). Reasons why they may not be appearing:
a. they may be too long (2000 characters max).
b. they may include swear words banned by the site's Swear-o-meter.
