I'm the first to admit I am not very good with technology and stuff, and am just about thinking about getting a digibox or something like that.
We don't have an internal aerial for the TV though (you know the one that sits on the roof?) so would this make a difference? If so, what can i do about it?
The house is not mine and I am not going to pay to get an aerial put on the roof because I will be moving out in a few months!
Thanks in advance ;-)

I've just installed a digibox on a telly with a TV top aerial. It doesn't work. I had to get a roof top aerial installed. You might get away with a loft aerial perhaps and run the cable from there then you can take the thing with you if and when you leave your accommodation although if you're moving to a more permanent location you might want to hold off until then.
Hi bought one for a summer house and found an amplified indoor aerial works fine you can get them from places like argos, comet for around 25-30. Have you also checked that you are able to receive a signal in your area.
