Does anyone know why my Lexmark X1180 all in one scanner/copier/printer always has paper jams. We put the paper in right but it always gets jammed, we use tesco value paper but never had problems with it before. Is it the printer or the paper

I have the same one, and yes it does seem to jam a lot, what i've found, is that the place with the tray you put the paper into, is a little bit wide, and doesn't feed properly, so now I check all the paper is in properly before printing.
I have had a Lexmark X1180 for six months now and have never experienced a paper jam.At first I thought the paper insert area was a bit iffy, but the thing is not to put too much paper in at a time, fan the paper before insertion, and when you have inserted the paper, press the paper feed button, which is the top left one under the on/off switch.I just use bog standard copy paper.
