As a fan of world music, who spends many hours every day listening to tracks on Youtube, I can confidently say that the
majority of songs I listen to are in foreign languages.
I love that track, Nailit. To me, it's reminiscent of some of the Gaelic songs of Capercaillie. You don't need any German to work out that it's celebrating Walpurgis Night. (
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Walpurgis_Night ). However Google translates the full lyrics as follows:
"Get in the evening sky
Tonight the magic ways
Wild people and Lilith's art
Lurking winds, secretly driving
Let's roam the fires
Murmuring for the stars
Good and bad word
Let's carry on today and on
In the pastures our dreams will sound
And the winds will sing our songs
Let's jump over the fire with the sparks
In the Walpurgis Night
Eh oh, hear the violins, hear the violins
Eh oh, the fires are kindled
Eh oh, follow the dance, follow the dance
In the Walpurgis Night
Impetuous in the game of violins
Turning our nocturnal 'dance
And we kick wild and free
Add to this old magic
Once only in a big circle
Let's dance that way
Until the first morning light
Our dream fabric breaks
In the pastures our dreams will sound
And the winds will sing our songs
Let's jump over the fire with the sparks
In the Walpurgis Night
Eh oh, hear the violins, hear the violins
Eh oh, the fires are kindled
Eh oh, follow the dance, follow the dance
In the Walpurgis Night
Eh oh, hear the violins, hear the violins
Eh oh, the fires are kindled
Eh oh, follow the dance, follow the dance
In the Walpurgis Night"
