I know that story! I put off getting a CD player for as long as I could. But, as soon as I started replacing my old vinyl with CD remasters, there was only one way to go. I'm down to just over 100 vinyl LPs now from nearly 5,000 in the early 90s. And I just love the fact that my mobile takes a 400GB SD card so that I can walk down the street with my CD collection in my coat pocket. :-)

Was asked today by older alba to think about buying a vinyl to cd converter type thingy, that way I'd still have the crackles to listen to. Thought about it for 2 seconds and decided no :-)
