My brother in-law who now lives in New York wants a Scalextric set for Christmas.

Will there be any issues regarding the power supply?

I know most electrical items needing a transformer these days will work (with a plug adaptor) on both 110v and 240v.

Does anyone know if this is the same for Scalextric power supplies?

I'd have some concerns about sending a UK-purchased Scalextric set to the USA. I think that there may well be problems with the different voltages. Rather than rely on ABers for advice, however, why not go direct to the people who'll really know? Scalextric welcome enquiries by phone, post or e-mail:
