Outside Sensitive Lights

Hi , I have an outside security light it has 3 settings 1 sensitivity
2 time light on 3 ?
It comes on all the time and is very difficult to get to , do I need to turn the sensitivity setting up or down ?

Turn it down, maybe point the sensor in a different angle as some thing moving, eg: tree branch, leaves fluttering etc may be setting it off.

ps: Speak very nicely to your outside sensitive light ;-)
You probably need to turn the sensitivity down and the 3rd setting is more than likely daylight setting which if it is coming on all the time, even during the day, this needs turning the opposite way to what it is now.

One is fortunate to have settings. After the local authorities decided to stop providing our post-midnight street lighting service, that my and my nieghbours' rates paid for, I bought an outside light that came on at night on detection of motion to replace the normal light. Now it comes on every time a car passes by :-(
